Center for Health Outcomes and Interdisciplinary Research
at Massachusetts General Hospital
“Current health systems are siloed and prioritize physical over mental health. We aim to break the siloes among disciplines and work together to develop innovative solutions that comprehensively and simultaneously address the mind and the body, across the continuum from health to illness” -Ana-Maria Vranceanu, CHOIR founding director
Maximizing our ability to live well across the lifespan.
What do we do?
Across clinical care, research, and training, our philosophy is that interdisciplinary collaboration focused on bridging the mind and the body is the most effective approach to help individuals preserve health, optimize recovery after injury and illness, and live well with chronic illness or when serving as a caregiver for a loved one.
With passion, hard work, and expertise, we aim to develop new solutions to improve health and well-being for individuals and caregivers. We are grateful for your support in this endeavor.
FUNDING SOURCES
Our research is funded by federal and foundation grants as well as through the generosity of donors who wish to advance science and clinical care. If you wish to support our work, you can donate online or contact Dr. Vranceanu directly.
